I’m sure many of you had this before. You are practicing something hard and after some time you play it fluently and almost up to speed. Then you rest and the next day you start again at point zero and can’t progress or get nearly as fast / clean as the last time. So I wonder, which routines proved to be the best for you and what are you doing when this happens to you?

Practising daily. I’m actually working on a video about progressing, I’m not finished but when I am I’m going to post it here on the forum. You progress each day if you’re practising and it doesn’t matter for how long, it just matters that you are working on it. It might seem like you didn’t pogress at all for a long time but after enough time you realise that you actually did progress.

I’ve practiced partitia in dm by Bach for a month and still couldn’t do it. I gave up(I know weak) but will try again at some point. Basically some things will take longer. Unfortunately to nail. That’s kinda how it works. It works the same with courses in any field you want. Some things come quick some don’t, just try to have the discipline to keep practicing. At some point you will be able to do it cosistently.
    Keep it up!
