What kind of picks do you use and what kind of music do you play?

I personally play with a dunlop jazz pick with the grip and I play a lot of metal. I was just curious as to what you guys do.

I play a lot of metal and rock and have always used jazz III feels most comfortable for me plus I like the point at the end

I use ultex jazz III 2.0. I’m gonna get 2 of those more expensive gypsy jazz picks Syn recommended though

Kirk Hammett Jazz III pick. I play metal, hard rock, and currently learning country and Spanish

Dunlop 2.0mm Gator Grip. I play mostly metal and Rob Scallon-type stuff, for lack of a better term.

I use the 2mm big stubby picks. I seem to really like those.

I’ve been using the John Petrucci signature picks for quite a while now, but recently I got the tortex sharp 1.5mm and ultex sharp 2.0mm to try them out and now I can’t decide which of the three picks I like best.
