Hi guys, feels like I haven’t really been involved much with whats going on here. But I’m still here for sure.
I have been taking a short break due to applying for jobs which seems to be taking a lot of time from my days, I’ve been doing a lot of guitar tuition too, as well as working towards a voluntary role else where. I’ve been juggling a few bits and pieces, but everything seems promising. I’ve just lost track on so much time. So I will continue with one more week (Maybe 10 or so days) with the break, and I will be back, up and running, fully rested and ready to post lots of videos.
In my current spare time I’ve been practicing mostly dominant centred topics, which also i’ve been getting into some sort of pentatonic substitutions, inversions and basically seeing what else can fit comfortably over a chosen chord. I’ve almost been relating some chords with others such as minor 7 b5 with dominant. I’ve had my perspective quite wrong with intervals and notes of the fretboard, and have been trying to correct what I now consider a very bad habit before posting anything more. So I’ve been sacrificing a lot of technique to almost ‘reprogram’ how I see intervals and notes. So my technique has been suffering, however, it is something that needs to happen so I can improve quicker and more effectively.
Back soon!
