I was messing around with a Em-G-Am-B chord progression and found a really cool voicing for an A7(it does not have a minor or major third in it).
Basically you leave the low E A,G and High E string open while fretting the D and G string on the 5th fret. Doing this results that the A, G and E notes are doubled up and sounds pretty cool.
