Dude.. when I play standing up I cant stand in one spot anymore. Swaying with the flow.. you gotta get it. Get used to it NOW.

So my experiences standing up over sitting down. Your fingers WILL NOT FEEL LIKE THEY REACH AS FAR. That a cause the guitar is lower. When I jammed with Ryan I remembered how difficult it was cause I couldn't play some positions of the scales.. or sweep at first. My short fingers get noticed there. But now I can play most parts up to the 14th fret.. then I kind of have to really reach to hit the bottom strings. You will struggle at first. I suggest playing simple power chord songs at first like youd do sitting down. Literally pretend like you're starting new.
Side point jak.. I tucked my fingers away a bit in my jam today. Its gonna take some time to get used to not thinking a out it when I do it but it was easier then I thought. But I always seem to leave the pinky out for palm mutes still.. it helps me mute the strings there. But I definitely am gonna keep trying to tuck them away when I pick.

Ok so.. I was already uploading this before i saw the post. So I'm posting it here even tho you can see it on the riff page too.
I must admit I started playing guitar standing up with my revenger 14 years ago so I'm used to the adjustment you have to make. But I still would say it took me a good month to get back Into it. If you go back to the first jam i shared you can hear how SLOW I play. That's literally because I didnt feel confident enough to play some of the stuff I know I'm capable of sitting down. I highly suggest it. West your shoes too.. dont do it in slippers. Lol unless they dont really slip off. I literally made sure I had a jam room when I knew i had a 2 bedroom apartment. The room is bigger too but I still dont have a desk I want a piano too......

Standing up is the way to do it! Here recently its the only way i can play! I feel like i can express myself so much more doing so. And the “practice like you perform” is what ive been taught my whole life. Im all for it. On the other hand, i haaaate uploading to youtube or else i would post the whole songs. Every song i post i can do all the way through, i just dislike youtube uploads
