When I was at the Periphery show n February (#lastconcert), I saw an ABR shirt, and the back said something like "Angry music for happy people" and that resonated with me, so I looked them up. I kinda dig these guys, even though I don't really KNOW any of their stuff cold yet.

Newest Mayhem album is really, really good. It's crazy to think what this band has been through and that they still manage to release good stuff this deep into their career.

Here's a favorite of mine. It's notable for two reasons: #1 it is super catchy and addictive. #2 it's one of the heaviest and "most metal" songs I can think of in standard tuning.
