thanks pal for the reply, btw i forgot to tell that im the third of this guitar owner, i bought this from the seller and he told me if the first owner has changed the neck pickup that actually seymour duncan, wdyt? :D
Thank makes perfect sense. I just needed some corroboration. Those came with two SD pickups if I remember correctly. So it was an aftermarket install and they went with a sustainer. Mystery solved!

After I did some reserach, I think its a legit one however it was modified. Obviously, schecter has only ever used ''sustainiac'' Pickups for their sustainer and this one isn't. Now the serial number tells me it was made in 2010 which fits with when the Synyster custom red and black was released as well as the color and font of the schecter logo at the time (it was changed for later models).

So yeah as was stated, this is a legit Synyster custom and was modified to have a sustainer.

From what I know, the Synyster custom back in 2010 were running at 1399$ USD however, there are also the Synyster custom LTD (Which mean limited) which I think was 1499$ USD.

Yours being the limited, it would have then been 1499$ brand new.

But as stated, yours was modified to include the sustainer. I dont know how much the fernandes sustainer is which I would assume might be around min 200$. And then the amount of work that would be required to do the installation (which seems to be quite something) would add probably around 150$ in terms of how much money was put in it. That is my estimation and it might have some wrong details, im really doing this on top of my head! :)

I mean do you know the average market prices for this 2010 guitar 😁
Well even if I knew, it wouldn't necessarily apply to this one in particular. See, it was modified and quite heavily by the looks of it. So usually, it would decrease the value of the instrument. However, the mods made to it are actually quite good (again, by the looks of it). It seems like it was ''improved''.

But then again, a mod is still a mod. Its not all original. Honestly, I think around 1000$ USD might be a decent price for it and its condition.

i had a 91' usa fender strat with a modded tremelo bar and bottom pickup, it cost me 900 bucks.
tried to resell it and buy a schecter. the guy at the shop said it's worthless cause the mods.
was my first electric guitar and it was really nice, shoulda kept it, got less than half what i payed
i was really bummed out, feels like how this guy sold a meteorite for 10k and the guy who bought it sold it for 1.4million

Yeah dude i know how it feels like, i just realize that sometimes genuine is the best even when we already improved the guitar, it gives different look somehow it might be so irritating but yeah, we learned something from it, that we shouldnt mod our guitar XD
