YES !!! Dude, I’ve missed these videos so much !

Thanks everyone. Means a lot! I wrote it 3 weeks ago, worked it up for a week, went on vacay for a week putting the guitar down entirely, then worked on it for another week. So 2 weeks total work just a little per day. A pleasant successful exercise in consistency and not jumping the gun. Very glad I didn’t prematurely just get a sloppy take and move on never visiting it again, as per usual.

The take was about as good as I could do, but in a studio situation I’d probably want to really pick that first lick I repeat 3 times, making it very a tight exaggerated staccato attack on the 3rd time. This would be counterpoint to the more legato licks later for dynamic and articulation variance. Live it’s very hard to get down to tap and get back up to position, so I had to just go with the take that happened. So how I played isn’t exactly what I wrote in my head but overall still 99% happy with it.
