Beginner trying bendings 😬- first section of Knocking On Heaven's Door solo (GnR)

I'm trying to learn this solo, but before I go any further (and trying to get it up to speed)....Any tips on bendings?
Happy Saturday fam 🖤🖤
Thanks for sharing and youre getting there, i think youre already pretty good in tune. My tips. I used this site for checking if bend is into tune:
https://www.harmonica.com/bending-tool/

Also maybe pit your thumb more over the neck, so you use more strength of it.

Good luck with it, took me quite a while to get the bends in good tune, still struggling with it tbh.

Thank you so much! Didn't know something like that existed!! I'll check this out for sure! And thanks for the thumb tip 😁

That wasn't bad! A simple tip I can give you (and that helps me as well) is to listen to the note you need to reach before bending. For example, if you need to bend on the 8th fret a whole step higher, listen to what the note on the 10th fret sounds like and try to reproduce that sound with a bend. Great job by the way!

Ooh, I love that solo. Couple things to keep in mind while bending would be that you're bending up to a note, also called the target note, try to play that note first and then try to bend up to it. For example if you have to bend a full step from the 12th fret, first play the 14th fret and try to match that pitch with your bend. Secondly try to grab the neck(put thumb over the top) that gives me a bit more of a hold on to and makes it easier to perform bends.

Thank you Ids!! Your video is so helpful! 🤩
