I love this song as well but I will be honest it takes a little bit longer for it to keep my attention. It was almost 1:20 seconds in before it actually started doing something differently. I think if you brought percussion or beats in a little bit sooner it would be more energetic. I also think personally that this would sound awesome if it wasn't such a groove sound. I think if it had a little bit more of an up beat club kind of tempo with chunking guitar it would drive the energy level through the roof. But even if you did keep it slow and grooving the way it is, I still think adding some chunking rhythm guitar and just very sporadic places will drive that beat a little bit more. Regardless I really love the stuff that you write man! I wish I had those skills for future songs of ours!

I 100% agree. This is a really slow song and it takes a long time for something to happen. Even I skip the intro sometimes when I listen to it because it's really long but this song made me learn that I need to get to the point quicker. My main focus was on the build-up at the end so I spent most of my time doing that and I was also focused on the video itself. I was trying to see what I'm capable of creating.
Trust me you do have those skills, you just gotta keep writing and writing and eventually you'll suprise yourself because you'll realise that you are way more capable of doing something than you actually think you are \m/. Just keep doing it and don't give up.
