Great job! If I can offer a couple of bits of advice, first get your thumb up behind the neck, it will make everything you are doing now, and into the future, so much easier. Secondly, the time will come when you will need that pinky, try avoid tucking it down under the fretboard and keep it up front with the other fingers ready for action.

Thank youu! It really means alot, oh yeahh I forgot about the thumb thingy or position, oh thanks too for the second advice! I didn't even notice what my pinky was doing I was focused on the first and third finger. Haha I love classic metal and thanks again)
Good job! Keep at it, and it’ll come natural to you. One thing i will suggest since @Adin Shepherd beat me to it, is go watch lesson 4 in the beginner section. It’ll give you a good way to hold a pick, which i believe is a major foundation of playing guitar, and will make things more comfortable! Keep up the good work!
