That's always been an issue. I get so into learning a song that I start working it out without a metronome going. Then I have to backtrack. Same thing happened with Crimson Day. Thanks for the reminder.

It's really hard for me too to use a metronome for songs, but it is so important! An alternative could be using a backing track(the original song for starters and then maybe one without the guitar) that you can slow downdown, there are good apps to do that. To me it's more motivating and you are still on time by following the drums 😊
