It looks like youre economy picking more than alternate picking. The last note should be a down stroke. I had trouble with that at first and really focused on ending the riff on a downstroke.
Well as it's groups of three notes per String it is basicly Economy Picking as you use the Motion to get to the next String. No Point in making it more complicated than it should be.

Okay I get it now O.O Thanks for pointing that out. The motion should be down up whatever comes next. Man, that makes this exercise like 200 % more complicated

haha. wasn't trying to complicate it. its something i noticed i was doing as well and its better to catch bad habits early on. usually my mistake was doing 2 upstrokes from the last high e note to the b string. i slowed it down and made that a point of emphasis to truly "alternate pick" this entire riff.
