Practiced all night. 24 variations takes a long time especially if you aren't the best at alternate picking. It really payed off though, my pinky has a messed up joint so it's been hard getting used to playing with it, I'm already so much more confident with using it.
Just the sweep picking exercises alone in the last hours have made me so much better at it than I was before.
