    It's DEFINITELY NOT EASY. I've done some things that have helped me improve. What exactly is frustrating you the most with it?

    Well, my picking hand is fine. It's my fret hand that's just too slow to keep up and I can do it fine when going slow (super slow) , but when I get confidence to try and speed things up, that's where it just goes to shit. My fret hand hitting other strings and it just sounds like a huge disaster.

    Accept the fact that you can't sweep and See it as an exercise that you do to warm Up, for fun or while watching TV. Once you do that you lift the pressure off you while still progressing. Once it's in your muscle memory you will automaticly gain speed by practicing. But it still Takes a looot of time
