    So I got all strings on and to tension, only problem is my back springs are pretty much maxed out and the bridge still leans forward toward the neck slightly. Went from factory (either 10-46 or 9-42) to 10-52. 3 springs currently in the back, is this just a case of detuning and starting again...

    I've been putting this off for like a year, but this week I am going to commit to attempting the old change tuning on a Floyd trick 🤞🏻 I've got @Ed Seith videos on hand, so I guess if it all turns to shit i just blame him right? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Wish me luck and check in a week to see if I'm alive haha

    Drums Hi-Hat starting position Closed or Open?

    Yep pretty much nailed it! A lot of double bass players will have their hi-hat set up in a closed position and never touch it. There are also things called a "drop clutch" which allows you to flick a little lever on and off at the top cymbal to change the resting position from open to close
