I’ll jump on board with this! One song I’ve never attempted but thought about (which also happens to be in the same tuning as the current guitar I’m holding) is Angels With Dirty Faces - Sum41 off their Chuck album 👍🏻 will post the video next Sunday
The one in the picture you posted is the old model of the golden goddess (2012-2017). Tell tale signs is the skull with the top hat on the headstock, as well as the Sustainiac neck pickup and invader bridge pickup.
As for production numbers, I can’t seem to find anywhere online claiming there...
Afterlife is such a good one. I wouldn’t be able to pick just one, especially where I go through phases. I’ve always loved M.I.A is what comes to mind currently
I appreciate all of your input! After trying a few different ones mentioned and just playing around with it a bit more, I feel as if up-picking every note feels most natural and fluent :rock-hand:
Practice makes better
Welcome! Glad to have to here :rock-hand:
I go through spurts of playing, some breaks longer than others. But as of late, I'm really trying to be more active in both my playing and presence here! My suggestion: Have a nice designated jam space where you can keep in that headspace of playing...
Hey all! I've ran into this note pattern a couple times now in a few different songs, and I'm wondering if there is a proper way to pick it? I struggle with this one more than others! I've messed around with it a little, such as trying to alternate pick it and just down pick it, but it just...
The song for me would definitely have to be Goddamn I’m Dead Again by Sum41. I’m a sucker for harmonizing guitars and this is full of it. Half the song is just guitar solo and it absolutely resonates with me. I’ve never been one for lyrics very much and I find that the instruments “sing” to me...
I cant really think of a full album, but there is one song that definitely comes to mind. Six - All That Remains is a song I've listened to for many years, dating all the way back to the days of Guitar Hero 2. I never much cared for the lyrics / screaming and still don't really, but the guitar...
Thank you everyone for your input! I should also note that I am going to be writing this along side my friend Paul, and possibly get our friend to record it for us (as he has a more professional setup than I do). So im hoping this also helps me move forward and get through that initial door...
Hey everyone!
For the first time ever, I am actually committing to try and write my own song. During the month of February there is something happening called the RPM Challenge (Record production month). Basically it’s challenging you to write a song or an album! So it’s the perfect time to...
Been working at this one for the last little while! Lots of tricky bends, hammer ons and pull offs. Good song to practice those.
Also my first time playing to a backing track rather than just the actual song
I havent done a proper drum cover in a while, but I do have a new set of drum mics ive been meaning to try out! Id be down to try something depending on the song lol.
My IG is Jeremyfhealey
This fill is from Thnks Fr Th Mmrs by Fallout Boy. When me and my band were playing this, I realized that I had no clue how to play this fill. After picking it apart and letting my brain digest this fill, here is my playing it at a couple different speeds.
Heres a video ive had recorded for a long while now but never done anything with. It was my last drum cover ive recorded actually and decided to take today to post.
Note: it was not recorded in one take lol
