    Being very hard at work

When I first read the title of this thread, I thought it might be about erections in the workplace. But this is better than expected

No, they didn’t have that one at the studio. I only played the guitars I mentioned. And I wasn’t allowed to take photos

How is jazz meant to be enjoyed?

It is meant to be enjoyed, but it’s enjoyed only by a certain group of people. We call them masochists.

Custom Bogner Amp used on CoE, Self Titled, and more AMA

There are a few that Mudrock put out, but this was in the early days of Kemper so I don’t think it’s that great of a profile that really reflects the amp. I made a few DI profiles of it for my own personal use, but I might redo them. Fred was thinking about making some, but he sold the amp to me...

Gear used on early A7X albums: The vault of Fred Archambault

Here's a write up I did about the amps used on each album, with some supporting documentation https://synner.com/threads/synyster-gates-ideal-amp-settings.4713/post-43139

CoE was a blend of mostly a Bogner Uberschall, a custom Bogner, and a Mesa Dual Rectifier. As for guitars, I think they had just gotten their Schecter endorsement, plus the producers already had some Schecters by then so I'm guessing it was largely Schecters plus whatever else they had laying...

    Warped Tour '03

Don't do it, it's a trap. You'll fall in love and have to buy one. And they're double the price now than when I bought mine in like 2015, which was already a lot then. I owned an Aristides for a hot second within the past year. Amazing guitar in its own right, but doesn't compare to the Parker...

That's a Parker Fly. Specifically, the "pre-refined" or "pre-US Music Corp" Parker Fly. I have the same guitar

I asked Nick if he knew who was making the pedal, and he said he wasn't sure. I can pretty much guarantee that it's not Schecter related at all. The release of the Hellwin and Schecter's other amp did not go well at all which is why they were discontinued. Syn, along with Avenged as a whole...

The amp is a "pedal platform" amp which means it's pretty smooth and clean on it's own. It's like a blank canvas to put pedals through and get some wild sounds. I'd say it's just warm and clean. The pedal is like a "preamp" pedal, almost like an amp in a box. Very similar to a distortion pedal...

I had sent Syn some birthday presents to the studio, but UPS couldn't deliver it because the no one was at the studio when they tried to drop it off. They sent the presents back to me so I figured I'd just drive them to the studio myself since I'm like 50 miles away. PG put in a good word for me...

Ed already answered this one, but to add on to what he said, labor is usually much cheaper in a country such as China so they can sell it for a cheaper price to the consumer. A lot of people have a lot of opinions on USA vs elsewhere but Chinese quality has caught up greatly over the past decade...

He had his 1954 Fender Strat, I think a vintage telecaster, and a one off Nash telecaster. I played the 1954 Fender Strat and I think the Nash. The entire time I was just so grateful and careful and everything just kind of happened so fast that I didn't even process what I was playing. And as...

lol I know I really wish I could say more. If I gave away too much, I wouldn't be told anything anymore. But there is little pieces of information in the post. Hopefully the amp and pedal will be released soon

I think the bottom was the prototype then. I could see that one detaching from a cab, but it doesnt look too practical overall. I don't remember the pedal controls aside from there being a noise gate as the bottom control. The rest are probably level, gain, and maybe tone. It would be nice to...

I guess I'm allowed to post this picture since the studio posted it. I remember them saying it was going to be a convertible combo as well, but there's a head looking thing on top in this picture, which is what I played. The bottom one is definitely a convertible version.

I think the pedal will be enough for most of the students honestly, but Ed confirmed there is a non USA version of the amp that I'm sure will be more readily available to other countries and cheaper as well

I think I remember hearing somewhere that there might be a USA version of the amp and an overseas version which will be cheaper. Can't confirm that at the moment, but I'm pretty sure I heard that. Maybe Ed posted it before? Hopefully he gives an staff member discount lol EDIT: Ed did post...

Yessir! There was 2 versions of it, one was like a split in half combo looking thing, and the other was kind of a head. I played the latter, which I *think* Nick said was a final. I could be wrong
