Sorry to do this here - but how can I cancel?

I don’t know that we have a method for that. Certainly nothing anywhere in the signup about prorated cancellations. Typically once someone pays, they accept that the money is gone. @Mike Creuzer ? @alexj ?

How do I get in contact with Syn Gates?

I thought it was pretty clever, but I’m jetlagged. 😂

How do I get in contact with Syn Gates?

No. If we did that for everyone who did what you did, none of us would ever get anything done. Syn is a friend and a contact exactly because I did what I recommended.

How do I get in contact with Syn Gates?

The easiest way is to be an awesome, active and helpful member here. That increases your odds - wait for it - sevenfold.

💎 Synner on display winners! 💎

So many truly amazing, wonderful, and creative entries, and so many of you were just SO generous with your time for Synner and the contest. We are humbled by all the love and creativity for Syn and Synner! And super-thanks again to Dominik for reaching out and donating his amazing artwork. As...

    Syn gates cab pack

It’s a digital download. I did a demo of it and the AxeFX (older - the 2XL+) when it came out. It might be helpful.

How can I play easy to medium difficult songs by just hearing them one or two times?

That’s years of using your ear to figure out songs, knowing basic theory and song structure. You first need to be able to figure out at least one stand-out chord, and then know enough common popular music progressions to fill in the pieces correctly.

Is this guitar related or something bigger

You may want to see a doctor about blood flow and blood pressure. Just to be sure.

Randy was VERY much a Californian-American. He was one of my biggest guitar heroes growing up. I only took up guitar and discovered heavy music a year or two after he'd died. Diary of a Madman is such an amazing album! His sister posts a lot of rare photos and stuff of him on Instagram. I think...

Is this guitar related or something bigger

I know Syn mentioned like a YEAR ago about possibly doing a cross-branded promo with the dropstrap or something. He thought they were really innovative.

I’ll be hitting the road tomorrow (Wednesday) for a week to visit my folks in NJ, so I won’t be around much.

How do i go about this issue?

Nothing to stop anyone from learning 3,4, 5 or more songs at a time. I've had to do as many in a short time for cover bands (though not songs as difficult at A7X, for the most part). You just have to have the self-discipline to keep coming back to them until you're done. I find that once I...

Help! My guitar keeps slipping out of tune!

It looks like you're in Singapore. A lot of the Asian countries have blocked Soundslice for licensing reasons, and Soundslice is the host of our lesson video, so you'll need to access the site through a VPN to see Papa Gates in all his glory.

Help! My guitar keeps slipping out of tune!

This is on the long side, but I just recently did a stream on the site about the Floyd Rose, how it works, how to tune up with it, and how to change strings. It WILL help you with your questions. https://live.audent.io/syntv/channels/ed-seith/streams/5e1e245b-d25e-49af-a5db-79513bd0fc2c

    Background check

I remember when mtv premiered. And played music videos 24 hours a day. Sigh.

    Background check

I'm not sure what song it was, but it was on either Waking the Fallen or Sounding the Seventh Trumpet and I didn't like it. A friend's son had recommended I look into the band. I went looking online and this song came up in RealPlayer (this was 2004, probably, and as shitty as RealPlayer was, it...

    Creepiest A7x song

Aside from the obviousness of ALPoH, I'd nominate Scream. Whether intentional or not, it has strong "serial killer rapist" vibes to me.

the songwriting process , what are your thoughts about it ? what is art?

But you DID get something done! You wrote an 8-bar riff that you enjoyed so much, you jammed over it. That's the first step!

    The stage intro

In the media section, there’s someone who recently posted a cover of the whole song. I recommended he do a lesson on the intro and he was receptive. Might start by finding that video and posing a direct question in the thread. Thanks!
