Congrats!! You are working hard and definitely growing up as a guitar player. Your playing is getting more and more solid.. I like sooo much the one of you and your husband playing together
I love to see you making progress and I'm glad I met you on this journey :)
thank you!! I'm learning sooo much doing this improv challenge, because I'm sitting face to face with these complicated tracks I would never have tried otherwise. It makes me aware of what I already know and everything (a lot) I have to learn yet. And it's definitely helping me develop my musicality
Another track way over my head
Didn’t know which my scale was but found some notes that fitted pretty well and they became my safe place on the fretboard 😂
Fun to try anyway. It does have some old time flavor.
Mine today is full of mistakes, this time not because I was lost. Problem is again that the track was fast and my fingers couldn’t follow my ideas 😅
I really need to make an effort and spend some time trying some more advanced techniques.
I’m happy though because there are some parts I really...
Reasonably proud of myself today, this is genuinely an improv because it's really my first take, hesitating sometimes because wasn't sure which scale I was in, and in some parts spitting too many notes for the same reason
Thanks 😊!!
My guitar is my old Jackson. It’s25 years old !! I bought it when I was 20something and tried to learn. But my teacher was so bad that I quit after a few months 😂
definitely the track was hard to follow to the end. The idea of using chords sounds really cool. I'm never sure which chords would fit, but definitely have to make some effort to learn where to find them in different positions of the fretboard.
I'm learning so much that I'm getting hooked on...
Absolutely right, I tend to play too many notes,... I think it's lack of confidence, like if I was afraid of getting lost or forgetting my next idea. Definitely must master the scales to feel more comfortable and keep practicing vibrato
