    Sun valley schreder problem

I’ve had mine for a year and I’ve never had anything like that happen to me

    New guitar-quality control

The locking nut seems to be normal. Those bases are probably made to be slightly thinner than the width of the neck to not overhang. And the other one, I don’t know about. I’d say as long as it works and nothing’s hidiously loose, 🤷🏼‍♂️.

    New guitar-quality control

If you bought it used, that might be expected to have a little wear and tear in weird places. As for what you’re talking about, the only wear I can see is in the image of the neck scoop. I don’t see much in the other 2 images.

    Lesson's backing track

If you have some type of software on your computer that you can "screen record" with, you can take a recording while the track plays that way you'll have the track off-site

    Different notes

    Well, it’s pronounced “tam-ber” so it’s a weird one😂

    Different notes

Guitar has about 4 octaves per note because of the way standard tuning is. The difference in all of the notes, however, is the timbre. The F note (first fret, first string) on strings 1 thru 5 all are the same pitch, but have different timbres.

    Different notes

The numbers refer to the respective register on a piano. A “regester” is an octave, simply put, and a piano has 7 registers. C is the note used for reference because the middle of the piano is a C; also called “middle C”. C4 is that middle note, so if you play the first C on your far left...

    Beginner Sus4 over major chord

When you take the “root:sus2(sus4)” combo from a major scale, you’ll find that you get Sus2 on 5 out of 7 chords/scale modes - Ionian, Dorian, Lydian, Mixolydian, and Aeolian. Phrygian and Locrian both have b2 so you can’t do Sus2 chords with them. Sus4 would be in Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian...

What's a simple way to remember the caged scale and chord combinations?

CAGED is essentially an easier way to think of the pentatonic scale shapes, plus a few other tricks for chords. You get pentatonic shapes, Major & Minor chord shapes, and Major & Minor arpeggio shapes. The letters of CAGED mostly match up with the major chord in that specific pentatonic shape...

Intermediate What's your approach to learning new chords?

It's shapes for me. I know the notes of each type of chord for any root note, but when it comes to playing this or that, I'm thinking shapes. I think learning 7th chords and the 3 inversions for the 5th- and 4th-string sets are the way to go to be able to branch the voicings out and get away...

    Costum-s or basic model

Well, the custom-s has the sustainiac pickup in the neck position instead of a similar humbucker that’s in the bridge position. I’d ask yourself “how often will I REALLY use the sustainiac?” because you may end up spending $600 or $800, or whatever difference, too much to just use it for the few...

    Practice without your instrument + A7X breakdowns | Jan. 29 @ 12pmCST

Hey everyone! This weekend I'm going to go over some ways to practice music without your instrument. There are plenty of ways you can "practice guitar" or "practice _____" without having your instrument in your hand or however you use it. Rhythm is a big one for every instrument - drummers, this...

    I need help about scales.

Follow the patterns in the chart I referenced in the video I posted in this thread

    3 note per string patterns

It’s a combination of not being used to stretching your fret hand for those patterns and possibly fatigue from doing the exercise so long. Try stretching your wrist and your fingers before doing it.
