    When holding down guitar strings to play guitar, you should press down on guitar strings only as hard as you have to for the note to play properly. Anything harder and you're only putting strain on the tips of your fingers, and anything less will result in the note playing poorly or not at all...

    Strings for drop tuning.

    I would like to see what strings everyone uses for drop tuning. I have been playing on Ernie Ball Skinny Tops Heavy Bottoms for a while now. They can drop tune but not as low as I would like. I recently purchased some Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky and some DR DDT. Has anybody used these?
