The tabs are the same tho', the second one is just the whole solo.
With the transcriptions I totally agree... Whenever I'm learning a solo from tab, I'm comparing it with tons of live videos of the particular solo and also slowing down the original song and try to fix the tab or just redo it...
I wanted to also attach the tab, but I can't do that here, so here is my tab for the solo... i downloaded one tab from ug and changed the notes or the positions.
Hi, I tried to work this last pentatonic run out earlier by slowing down the solo like a billion times and watching the few youtube covers people made... Here is what I ended up with... Can't say that every note is 100% correct (specially the note durations) but pretty close I would say.
Syn Etudes / Sweep Picking IV / 115 bpm
Eighth notes / Triads / Sixteenth notes
Until December it needs to get cleaner, cleaner and cleaner... and faster... and hopefully to get my fingers run through the whole Etude. *insert Barney Stinson quote*
Syn Etudes / Pentatonic III / All Positions / 115 bpm
We will see in December if there is any progress : D
I left the mistakes in, just cut out some swearing : D
No better way to practice than The Master himself looking over your shoulder... and of course with my little DIY homemade Synner led lamp.
( Matt Heafy just couldn't stand the idea of not being in this picture, he had to photobomb )
Hello there, this is how I play it, I hope it helps
As for the picking pattern this is the most efficient for me: Sweep motion and pull offs ... only the last 2 notes of the bar I alternate pick when I come up and then down again.
So down pick 12 - pull off to 0 - down pick 12 on B string -...
i have just had time to watch it, it was awsome and thank you for the video, next time I will try to follow you step by step... but how did you manage to tune it that fast and have the floyd rose level with the guitar that easy? I always fuck up with that at least 1 or even 2 days. : D
