    Hopping back to this thread I think more people will see it here: One thing that i've found useful is trying to figure out what the next 3NPS pattern is by ear before watching the next position, it helps me memorise it quicker personally, heading into position five now and I'm grasping them all...

    Trying to work on that C scale across each string, as Brian said it makes me want to pull my hair out, when I have it down planning to put a video here if anyone wants to see it across all 7 goes round :)

    With exercise 1, something that helped me get strictly alternate picking and not accidentally doing two down picks in a row is focusing on which string is which stroke. So if you start on a down, the next string will start on an up, then the next one a down etc. Going over this slowly helped me...

    Hello, first time posting! I have a question, what makes this lick Dm, looking at the circle of fifths wouldn't the relative minor as A be F# and this seems to be the same notes, apologies if I'm missing something really obvious!
