Question about sweeping.
On the E string do you always start off with a downstroke or is it a upstroke with a hammer on? Dm sweeping would you downstroke on 17 then hammer on to 13? Or is it upstroke on 17 and hammer on to 13? I was taught you down stroke but seeing these videos I’m a tad bit confused.- Brandon Jones

Recording yourself playing.
Does anyone else get nervous before they record themselves playing a riff or solo and can’t nail it at all. But as soon as you don’t record you can play it smoothly? I’m having this problem and is the reason I’ve yet to upload a riff on here. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to overcome...- Brandon Jones
