this little thing has like an A and B section, it all in Db but the A section feels like Db major and B section feels like Bb minor, the relative minor of Db major! the triplet rhythm in the left hand make me feel like i’m at sea or a pirate or some shit. yar...
i hate singing in front of people but this is all about growth so… 😣 this is part of the first real song i ever wrote! the verse progression is pretty interesting imo because it feels really long but it’s not that weird

A little Ab -Eb - Bb - Cm or G7 riff; IV - I - V - vi or III7! I’ve always loved starting melodic parts on the IV chord; it makes the harmony have lots of momentum in my opinion
