1/4 step in cents?

If a song is tuned 1/4 step down, how much is that in cents?

I’m not an expert and I may be wrong…. but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say 1/4 step would be 25 cents. Not learning any Pantera are you? Lol

That’s what I thought but then I got confused cause 1 semmitone (halfstep) has 100 cents. Doesn’t that mean that 1 step has 200 cents? And if it does, wouldn’t that mean that 1/4 step has 50 cents? I’m just confused and I want to get that cleared up.
No I’m not learning Pantera haha, I’m doing a cover of a song where the bass is tuned 1/4 step down and I programed it but I can only change the pitch in cents so that’s why I need to know.

A semitone is 100 cents, so yeah, a whole tone (a full step) is 200 cents. And that would make a quarter step 50 cents.
