QQ - after marking a lesson as complete it does not update as completed. I've tried to restart the browser and tried a different one. Any ideas?

Secondly, I'd love to change my account name to remove my surname; is this possible?

There are currently some issues with marking lessons complete and progress tracking. The team is working on it.

I didn't find a way to change your profile name. You may consider messaging an admin like @alexj or @Mike Creuzer and see if they can do anything for you on their end.

Currently there isn't a way to change your username unless you're an admin, so PM me with exactly what you want your username to be and I can change it!
