5 Favorite Song Intros

Just for fun I decided to play some of my favorite song intros. I have way too many favorites, but here are some of them, not in any particular order. I’m a nerd, so a lot of my favorite songs have come from video games, or discovering bands in that way. And my 2 favorite genres of music are punk and metal, so thats what most of this is comprised of lol.

LOl, Thanks @Ids Schiere and @Ed Seith. That is my girlfriend, she was playing Kingdom Hearts. When she plays video games she is more or less dead to the world. I could have blared both my amps and I don’t think she would have noticed. The cat at least meows at me or will paw at my amps if he disapproves of what I’m playing lol.

What’s your favorite A7X intro?

For A7x it’s Higher, A little Piece Of Heaven and Buried Alive I can’t really decide which is really my favourite. I’m a sucker for vocal Harmonies so Higher is an easy pick there

If I want to punch someone it’s “we come out at night” “black and grey clouds willow…” that opening segment is energetic! Betrayed has like the best riff. Many YouTubers agree it’s one of the best riffs of avenged sevenfold. Unholy Confessions is iconic, gets me pumped in the mosh pit wish I was there in the early days of it being played. Dear God is a nice mellow intro. The stage is quite cinematic which is cool. Shepherd of fire is like cool with the bells and trumpets. A little piece of heaven has a cool melody which then is accompanied by chugging of the low e, which is awesome. I think I pretty much mentioned every album.

I also just just realized I completely forgot to mention Egg by Mr. Bungle. Besides my favourite lyric it also has one of my favourite intros. So this means I have six 5 favourite intros because I’m a cheat.
