AC/DC tone?

Hey guys it’s been a while, but lately I’ve really been on an AC/DC kick. I’m trying to find the right settings on my amp to mimick the tone they use and I think I’ve got a good one but I wanted to see what all of your opinions are. Like what settings for the gain, treble, mids, and bass would you recommend?

Tone will be more of a feel thing – hard to peg a suggestion on a per-amp basis, but gain is WAY low for AC/DC. Barely enough to get slight crunch and breakup.

Angus was known for using very low overdrive tones and simply playing *really really* hard. Going off my very accurate reference of Back In Black stuck in my head, I’d say midrange is the most prominent EQ feature, maybe set lows 6/10 mids 7/10 highs 5/10 and see how that goes. That’s about what I usually set mine to for that kind of crunch. BUt again Young’s playing style is very aggresive and borderline abusive, so within reason you could mimic that

For ac/dc style stuff I tend to use my mojob mojo overdrive with drive at a 10 o clock (like pretty low) with an equalizer with the mIDS (sorry couldn’t help myself) pretty boosted. Not sure how close I get exactly but that’s what I use. Also the mIds and treble are pretty high on my amp and the bass kinda low.

The person who is helping me with the unholy confessions cover said that the guitar tone is similar to acdc and is not metal, do you guys agree that unholy confessions sounds like a acdc tone.
