We’ve got a member on the site who lurks here in the forums. His name is Flip Twogood, and his band Acacia Ridge just released their debut album (self-released) on all the major services – Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, you name it. They did an awesome job writing, recording, and mixing, and honestly, some of it is fucking KILLER. Flip learned sweeping over the last year plus here on the site from Syn’s lessons, and he does some mad sweeps on this record, but it’s still melodic, tuneful, and has some really tasty playing and writing.

Just listened to Alabaster eyes in some parts I get like a slash vibe, like the major parts if I am not mistaken that they are major. The intro gives me a black veil brides vibe also. Awesome stuff!
