Hobby Dent is a user that is posting comments that can’t be seen (I get notifications about them but they don’t exist) and the one that I did see was a Korean ad for an online casino. It just said “Oncasino” that was a hyperlink
We’re looking into this. We’re working on methods so that trusted moderators can take care of this themselves. We’ve also activated RECAPTCHA, wnich is a PITA for humans but should stop most of the bots from posting spam. Thanks all.
Thank you so much for all that work Patrick! I have a question though, would recaptcha work for someone like hobby Dent? They are writing things out like there an actual student or an actual living, breathing human being. And then yet they are injecting Spam and dangerous websites in their hyperlinks with tricky words that make the students want to click on them because it seems like the link pertains to their question or comments
