Advice for writing guitar solos?

Me and my friend have been writing songs were both pretty good at writing rhythm, but we need to make a guitar solo. Any advice for writing one?

With scales and arpeggios you can get prestyling far. Also try to know whinch notes make up the chords your playing over. Whm youve done this simply try to come up with melodies

I think like any part of a.song melody for a guitar solo is of up most importance. There’s no point shredding for shreddings sake. Some of my favourite solos from syn and other players are the more simple ones that have more feel to, some emotion and you can almost sing or whistle along to it. That being said don’t be afraid to showboat if you can.

Yeah really one of my top goals, write a slow guitar solo that really defines the song and the feel of it.
