Roland cube is a pretty decent one. If you want a cheap amp some pedals is a pretty good idea. Make sure you can get one with bass, mid and treble knobs on it. Weirdly enough some only come with a tone knob.
I’m not sure what you’re budget is but if you can afford it you can also look into a Boss Katana. That one doesn’t really need any pedals I think and I heard a lot of great things about it.

Can confirm for Boss Katana. I have the 50 watt version which comes as a combo with a 12 inch speaker. Perfect if you want to crank the volume loud or set it to 0.5 watt and use to practise in your room. They are the best amps for the price range.They have 4 electric amp types as well as an acoustic. It has good EQ and 3 different boosters, delay and reverb settings. It also has 6 presets you can customise and change to your liking. Also has the option to use headphones with it too. You can setup a pedal board as well so it is future proof. Not sure what else i can say about it but if I’ve missed anything someone else will surely add to it.
Regarding pedals, don’t worry about that until later. You can’t anticipate today what you might need in the future.
With affordable guitars, the two big things to look for are a properly cut nut and frets that don’t stick out. I recommend that you do not ever purchase a guitar with a super high nut or with frets that want to hurt you.
As for the amp, you’ve got two big questions to answer. #1 will you be playing with a live drummer? #2 do you want to try recording music in the near future?
If the answer to either of those questions is yes, I recommend that you skip the cheap practice amp thing entirely and save your money. If you want to record, you can get better sounds with free software in Reaper than you will likely get trying to record a cheapass practice amp. To play with a drummer, you will want both a higher quality amplifier and also a higher quality speaker. Also ear plugs. If you’re in a small room, a drummer can injure your ears in no time. They can just decide “fuck you”, give their cymbals some good whacks, and then your ears get to ring maybe for the rest of your life.
