Arpeggios in solos

I need some advice on this thing. I just started developing an interest on arpeggios and how to include them in solos. I was watching some tutorials of Syn’s solos and saw him using crazy arpeggios. How do you guys include or use long arpeggios in your solos? What is the though process behind it? Is it based on the underlying chord progression only or some other stuff like, tips from music theory etc? iwant to move on from simple triads on lower 2 strings.

Usually I base it on the chord progression. But for example over an am7 you can perfectly fine use a Cmaj arpeggio.

Always playing some arpeggios in impros. And sometimes I split them to each note and some weird notes to freshen up my playing a little bit some 3-string arpeggios always get some spice in the playing

Also use the circle of fifths to use the right major arpeggio to the minor progression like Ids says.

try to use various techniques when you are making a solo because if you only sweep, tap, scale running, etc. it becomes a dull solo, for example, its ok to include a scale shred run, into a soulful part then into a sweep, then into a tapping section. try to keep things fresh.
