It’s not bad copying what someone else does. Just try to make sure to analyze why they do the things they do. You can analyze the Harmony(Harmony is basically how chords relate to each other), why licks they use in solos work and stuff like that. Than instead of copying them they influence you and from multiple influences you can create your own sound.

I think I’m going to learn how to play this song. It is Bleed Me An Ocean by Acid Bath and apparently I’m supposed to put it in C standard tuning which I’ve done. I cannot get a straight answer from Google about whether it should be in 440 or 400 Hertz or if it even matters. I would like to know what you think
