Has anyone else developed any bad habits while playing that really set you back while learning?
For me, it would be putting my pinky under the neck while playing. I have incredibly long fingers and where other guitarists would have to use their pinky to reach a fret I could often do it with my ring finger so I started doing that. Now that I’m learning more I’m hitting power chords and notes that require 4 fingers and I’m learning I made a horrible mistake.
I’m finally breaking this habit but it really got me curious. Has anyone else here developed similar habits that set them back while learning?
