I always heard there was a story behind why they picked that as their mascot but I couldn’t find the story anywhere on Google. So if someone wants to tell me if they know that would be cool
I think it was on the waking the fallen resurrected documentary where they had the idea of a skull with wings and Avenged brought the idea to a local tattoo artist to create the logo. I may be wrong, but I believe that’s how it came into play
