So a while ago I bought a capo for about €1 from ebay but I lost it. Since I really like playing Slow Cheetah by RHCP and it is pretty hard playing that without a capo I would like to know whether someone has a recomendation for an affordale good quality capo?
I don’t think it’s *technically* made for them, but my sister bought one shortly after I did and she uses it on a classical guitar, so I’d say it might *work*, but it’s not optimally built for one.
I never really used a capo, but is there really a point to buying an expensive capo? I mean all it does is pressing the strings down, no need to spend a lot of money on that. Please do tell me if i’m wrong though lol
Well I think really cheap capos can pit to much tenstion on your neck and break it which is not really what you want. Most of the time you spent money on quality
I can’t imagine any capo that can break a neck – those things really are seriously strong – but a capo with too much grip can certainly pull some or all notes sharp under normal use, so you dont want to have that. Dunlop makes a decent one-hand-squeeze capo that should do the job. I think they’re under $10 US.
