Carvin 100 watt amp pedal

I just came across this Carvin pedal which is supposed to be like a 100 watt amp or something but it confuses the hell out of me that a 100 watt amp can be done as a pedal https://www.guitarplayer.com/gear/carvin-audio-debuts-new-mach100-pedal-amplifier

Disclaimer: I'm not really interested in buying(vertex effects has three different dumble amplifier emulated pedals and I want them all) but it just dazzled my brain a little bit

I read about this! It actually does have a 100w solid state amp built into the pedal. I believe you could plug into this and run the output to a speaker cabinet and make rock guitar sound. Interesting concept, eh?
