In this tutorial, we will be looking at the CAGED system for minor chords by learning to play a chord using all of the 5 forms. So, let's have some fun.

2. The CAGED system for minor chords

The CAGED system for minor chords works in a similar fashion as the version of the major chords. The only difference is that the first form in order is usually the E form, making its actual name the EDCAG system.

Let's play the Em chord using all of the forms. First off, the E form:

Let's move on to the A form:

And finally, let's review our desire to play guitar by looking at the G form:

The barres are done with the index finger on the D and G strings and with the pinky finger on the E and B strings.
