Hey everybody! Me and two other buddies are playing “Lost” by A7X for our schools talent show and I’m beyond excited. One of my friends doesn’t have an amp with the right effects to play the song so I’m planning on buying an Ampridge dual guitar cable so that he can plug in and play out of either my amp or my friends amp. I have never messed with cables like these before and i just wanted to know what i was getting into before I buy it. If any of you have had problems using dual guitar cables for two people to play out of one amp I would love to know. Thanks

I am not sure this would work how you hope it would with a distorted signal, if you’re thinking that two guitars could play through the same amp at the same time. I could be wrong, I’ve never tried it, but in my logic brain part, the amp will hear the two different signals as only one signal, and will simply distort it, even though it’s technically two signals. Mush.
