Guys,
what’s your position towards Electronic Music?
I there anyone here who’s into this genre?
I personally listen a lot to David August, I suggest you give him a try. I think he’s incredibly talented.
Open mindedness has helped me a lot in terms of creativity, improvisation and especially writing music.

I do enjoy it from time to time, I make stuff every now and then, I get hired to make a beat or something. Here is one that I made. I was given the vocals and had to build around them. It wasn’t the easiest, but it was fun.

I’m incredibly picky when it comes to Electronic music. I do really dig Moby and the electronic stuff Andrew Huang(if you haven’t already check out his youtube channel) does but i really dislike techno music for example.

I like a certain type of electronic music. Mostly industrial and dark synthwave. Stuff like Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Diamanda Galas, IAMX, Marilyn Manson etc. For me, the main thing with electronic music is that the core of it has to be songwriting. The song has to be written masterfully, with electronic layers added, not just some random mumbo jumbo DJ stuff all over it.
I also appreciate when electronic artists incorporate real guitars, bass and drums, because it adds a human element to it, as opposed to just standing there in front of a computer and doing nothing.

Electronic music is such a topic area.
I like Niels Frahm and Olafur Arnalds. They are awesome and very atmospheric. They improvise a lot on stage and build up the songs very slow.

My brother is more into Hardstyle (which I don’t like) like this:
