First song you played by ear?

What's the first song you played by ear?

Mine may be The cult - Lil' devil. I don't remember others songs I learned by ear.
I learned the official version with tabs, the riff uses single notes and I used powerchords.

For me it was the vocal parts of Redbone by Childish Gambino because there were no tabs for it and I wanted do to a full guitar cover of it.

Could never play something only by ear. First full song I learned was Hand of Blood by Bullet for my Valentine which I learned without tabs / notes and only by watching live videos and covers.

The first song i really writted down by ear in it's totallity was the live version of warmness on the soul, the one from 2016 in bonner spring to be exact!. i don't know but i love that particular version

The first and only song I learned totally by ear was Desolate Ways by Morbid Angel. It started completely by accident, I was just goofing around and played something that sounded like it and then decided to see if I could work the rest out.

An obvious one, Smoke on the Water. I was basically fucking around with strumming and I figured that one part sounded like Smoke on the Water and then I figured the whole riff.

It was a pretty eye-opening moment actually. It made me realize I have a (somewhat) good ear.
