Fret Buzz.

When I bend my high E string on the 3rd fret I get a horrible buzz noise. Does anyone no what causes this and how to resolve it? Thanks.

If it is only at the 3rd fret on thet high E than I dont know. I had it for my 10th fret That it starts chiming and stuff. The fix for that was That I put the action on my guitar a bit higher.

You need to adjust your neck
Set the action higher or lower.
You can either do it by yourself ; check out some tutorials how to do that on YouTube etc or take it to the nearest guitar store.

It’s kinda hard to say for sure without actually checking it out…but since it’s only one note when you bend, I wouldn’t say the neck needs adjusted. And it most likely isn’t the action either, although it could be if it’s set really low. But bridge height generally doesn’t effect that low on the neck. Before we get crazy checking measurements and making adjustments..when was the last time you put a fresh set of strings on it? Dead strings can sometimes cause things like you’re describing. If your action IS extremely low, try bringing the bridge up a bit. If the strings are new and aren’t setting on the fretboard, it sounds like you have a slightly unlevel /raised fret OR your nut slot is just a hair low. There’s some things you can do to check those. But try changing the strings first hah

I had fret buzz on my previous guitar. Its because the frets are used up and have some dents in it. To fix that, someone told me i could do fret dressing. If that did not worked, I had to replace the frets for new ones
