FULL HAIL TO THE KING SOLO TUTORIAL! ( I did it, guys!)

Wow… this was definitely a challenge but I had a lot of fun doing it. It is long because I try to go into all the nitty-gritty details I discovered while trying to learn it (aka watching a billion live videos). If you’re having trouble with it, here you go. I hope it helps! I took some advice from Dominik and I added a section where I play it all the way through, although not up to speed because I want people to be able to see slowly how it’s done.
Thank you guys so much. I’m so honored to have seriously had you all as a part of this 2 year long journey. You’ve all been so wonderful to me.

Great job jak really well done you’re a natural teacher. You should think about making a living from it. You have a confidence that not many people have and also patience. I don’t think I could sit and learn a solo for over 200 hours good work!

Awesome! I only watched the first 35 minutes by now and it’s awesome. I should write down your list and always look at it while playing Basic things I sometimes forget about while playing. And I think it’s the first tutorial I don’t have to stop like very 30 seconds. Until now I could play along to the tempo pretty well and I remember everything until now.

Excellent job, I just got home from the Dallas international guitar show, with some new toys, some needed, most not lol. However I did discover my subconscious versatility, I was playing through an entire setup and the guy was changing the sound everywhere seconds and without thinking or even noticing my style of playing would change.

I got an MXR smart gate pedal for $50, I got a box of strings, a gig bag guitar stand, a shubb capo, a thimble slide. I’m really happy about the smart gate because I have needed one so bad and after using it I realized how bad it really was. Contrary to most people I typically like talking with guitar sales people. I also happened to meet Eric Johnson without realising it was him, I apparently stopped him (I recognized him from somewhere and decided to start a conversation) on his way to the fender booth to sign autographs and demo stuff. I realized it was him and then wished I had gotten a picture with him. However I did get to talk with him, he is a very cool guy.

My dad describes it as I was in heaven while he was in hell, he couldn’t take the amount of noise going on around him. A couple of guitarists seemed to have a competition to see who could get the loudest in the convention hall.
