Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a guitar with a whammy bar, but The problem is... my budget is $500. I know ALOT of guitars for that price with a whammy bar aren't that great but I was wondering if there's any recommendations. Hoping one day to be able to save up for A syn Custom

Your best bang for the buck is going to be finding a solid used Schecter or Ibanez with a Floyd. Lots can be had in good condition, and that keeps you out of the starter-guitar basement if you look at used-but-in-great-condition.

Since you're trying to save up for a Syn Custom, why not go a different route with a similar effect? A whammy pedal will do the same thing as a whammy bar. They also cost less than $500 and that way you can kickstart your Syn savings.
