So i recently noticed a bump in my left hand wrist, visited the doctor and he told me it was a synovial cyst, my question is, anyone has or had it? can i keep playing? will it disapear on its own? it only discomforts a bit if i play for more than 30 minutes
Only your doctor can tell you for sure, but a cyst is just a localized collection of fluid, and can often go away on their own, usually with few (if any) symptoms. I've had Baker's cysts a few times when I was younger, and there was nothing to do but wait for them to go away but, again, your doctor will give you the best advice here.
Except for this - if it starts to hurt to play, stop playing.
Need pics. I had a bump on my hand/wrist. My guitar teacher told me it was likely a cyst, and that I should slam a book on it to break up the particles lol. I never did, but it went away eventually
