Oh I miss seeing Jimmy stuff everywhere…
His humor and liveliness was an inspiration to me when I was in high school. I used to run around Yelling and messing with people like I saw him doing in all the behind the scenes footage when I was a teenager. Haha
When someone told me at a party when I was 16 “the rev is gone” I honestly was hoping they were talking about the pope or somebody from the church… as bad as that may seem.
That for real broke my heart, so I can’t even imagine what it was like for Syn and the guys who were actually best friends with him. I still feel for them every day…
However, I do still laugh at all of the jokes and humor we got from him every day too.
He was, is, and always will be a legend in my eyes!

His singing in Mezmer is great! The dude sang in that song, wrote the piano parts and was a beast on the drums! Legend. Syn’s intro solo is so awesome too I’m thinking about learning it.

Oh I know right? He was a beast in every aspect of his playing, singing, and writing. I could talk about it all day. Haha
I know Syn just said something about trying to get ahold of the pinkly smooth master tracks and remastering them and that would be soooo awesome.

Yeah the Rev’s song writing was top notch, you got stuff like pinky smooth, afterlife and a little piece of heaven. I kinda wonder how Brooks feels sometimes because the Rev has such a legacy and stuff you know he’s a beast in his own right though. And thanks I want to learn it pretty badly but I’m just trying to plow through hail to the king because I’m hoping to play it at my school’s talent show in December. Ive got the main riff to 90% speed but it kills my picking hand though lol I guess I’ll post that when I can play it
