HARDWEAR: chaning tuners?

I have owned an epiphany SG 7 years ago, and it did not have this problem to be completely honest with you.
But, it is very normal.

Not calling your guitar cheap, but “more affordable”) have tuners that can detune.
You could get a new set of tuners. I think Gibson uses Gotoh! It is a very nice brand.
The Synyster custom have gotohs.

New tuners are usually a great upgrade! Locking tuners are definitely what I’d recommend and they generally start around $60 and go up from there. Theres also a super cheapo way of helping string stability. Take a graphite pencil and rub some graphite in the string cut outs in the nut. This works because budget nuts tend to be made of materials that grab the string when it’s moving (bending, vibrato,etc) and graphite help the string slide out of and back it pitch. It won’t solve the problem, but it will help and it’s essentially free!
